Draft at the brewery. Pours a beautiful deep, black color with a thin tan head that dissipates rather quickly. Heavy aromas of roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is of sweet caramel, coffee and chocolate with hints of alcohol and chocolate. Mouthfeel is very smooth and robust. Great stuff that was so good, I had to buy a growler of it for when I got home!

Tan head atop brown-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, chocolate, espresso, faint earthy. Taste is moderately sweet, chocolate syrup, espresso, light alcohol, anise. Effervescent medium-full body.

Pours dark brown with a sparse tan head. Smells of milk chocolate, earthm dark fruit and licorice. Tastes slightly tarte with some cherries and a full caramely burnt malt profile. Lots of depth on the palate. Finish yields some licorice and some pepper. Very well done!
