On draft at brewery, big resiny ipa. The same sweet malts again, could it be the water? I’m liking it, no hop bitterness on finish at all

the aroma is huge in terms of pine and grass, a great example of a IPA. Flavor is well balanced, not overly sweet with a nice fresh bite of hops

Growler. Tons and tons of citrus and tropical fruit notes with a sprinkling of marzipan. Not a revelation, but simply very tasty.

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a super cloudy orange brown with a thick white head. Aroma of pungent grassy and garlicky hops, citrus. Flavor of sweet citrus hops initially with a bitter hoppy finish and some tropical fruits. Great hop profile. What an enjoyable IPA! 8/4/9/4/17 [4.2/5]

Pours copper with an off white head. Smells of caramel, citrus, some floral hints and dry. Tastes of caramel, apples, some bitter citrus, some earthy hints. Mouthfeel is oily and resiny with a finish that yields a lasting touch of bitterness.

On cask: Pours a still transparent dark copper with a few random off-white bubbles. Lightly sweet toasty pale malty nose has some citrusy hop presence. Starts fairly full with a mild sweetness and big grapefruity bittering and flavor hops toward a drier bittersweet finish with a touch of warmth. A decent IPA.

Growler courtesy of kmweaver’s wife’s twin sister. Cloudy amber body with a large beige head, fading. The nose is lightly sweet with caramel, citrus and acetaldehyde (green apple). The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with caramel, citrus, grapefruit and floral hops. Medium body is soft with moderate carbonation.

Poured from a growler. Deep, bronzey red pour. Juicy aroma of brown sugar-glazed oranges, basil, waxing peppery and jammy with an autumn sentiment; plum, cranberry, and vegetable flesh. Flavor is bold, sweet, a little salty, unique. Christmas spices, pine, citrus, and banana tones; pleasant balance and well-tempered, retaining that predominance of tangy, dark temporanillo vinousness common to the other models. Sparkly, thick palate. Gritty green sugars expand with a touch of unpleasantry, within a thick, sweet doughy context. Clean and reasonable; an interesting rendition. Thanks for sharing, Ken!
