Weird freakin’ beer. The aroma is strange, caramel malts, and some sort of condiment sauce, like bbq. The flavor was malty, peppery, with a strong undercurrent od tobasco or something like that. The finish was sweet, but with an odd aftertatste. Something went wrong here...

I generally love the hoppy beers at willibrew but this was too boozy, malty and unbalanced to even qualify as a DIPA to me. Tasted like an over hopped dubbel or something. Not my favorite.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Drake (6488) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a large off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of herbal, floral, fruity hops, toffee malts and a bit of butter. The taste is intensely fruity with notes of melon, stone fruits and citrus, along with some herbal notes and toffee malts. Medium bodied.

sampler at the brewpub, horribly boozy. Almost barleywine/wheatwine boozy. Very bitter though, which sort of helsp but its alcohol then bitter. Not my type of beer.

Growler (I am guessing this is it, but will move if I confirm that it isn’t) thanks to t0rin0. Pours with a hazy golden brown body and a tan head. Aroma is grassy, catty, windex, pine, lemon and bitter. Flavor is bitter, lemon, citrus. Dry and bitter. Not amazing, but not bad either.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 koopa (338) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 25, 2010
Appearance: Iced tea brown with orange folds. A small off white crown rapidly dissipates and leaves little lace.
Smell: A touch of malt sweetness along with a healthy dose of juicy hops....almost smells fresh hopped.
Taste: Initial hop bitterness that opens up into a slightly fruity and slightly buttery malt profile. Finishes slightly bitter and slightly dry.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied and a touch slick but I think this growler has lost some carbonation since it was poured (5 days ago). Growler says "best consumed within 24 hours of pouring" on it and I think they might be right.
Drinkability: No alcohol presence which is cool considering the abv. More carbonation and a better flavor profile would make it more drinkable though.
Nothing special but not bad.
Serving type: growler

Tap at the brewpub. Aroma bursting with fresh citrus hop character, orange, grapefruit, lemon, some peach as well. Flavor keeps the hops coming though also gets a bit taken down by residual sweetness. Great display of hops, not as great getting rid of distractions.

Pouring at the Brass City Brew Fest. Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Interesting aromas, bouncing between fruity and hoppy, loaded with nice citrus notes. Sweet and hoppy, medium bodied. Light grapefruit bitterness, and just barely a hint of metal. Tasty.

Deep orange, light amber in color. Aroma is phenolicy and estery with a good deal of citrus hops. Taste is a good fusion between an IPA and Belgian strong- Alot of citrus and pine hops as well as a good amount of estery and spicy yeast. It does get a bit dirty mid palate, if that makes sense. Some candi sugar. Finishes bitter with lingering belgian yeast spice.
