Cottrell (72) - Connecticut, USA - APR 30, 2005

This one is no joke. Comes a murky, muddy dark golden color. Aroma is extremely strong, and just bursting with pungent resinous hops, orange peel, grapefruit, and some floral notes. Flavor starts with some mild sweetness, some from malts, but mostly from sweet hops. Some nice sharp bitterness that sticks with you in the aftertaste. The finish is like a citric fruit drink, grapefruit dominates with orange peels, and some spicy slightly herbal notes. This one will punish your palate, and leave you wanting more.
