2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Braudog (5060) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Light orange amber color. Not much to it at first. After two IPAs this seems a bit vapid. Suffices as a decent sessionable drink. A bit rough around the edges. (#4907, 1/15/2013)

on draft at brewery, you cant really go wrong with rye and ipa. These guys really make a great ipa and rye adds such a great spicy component. Good thickness, awesome pale ale

Listed at 5.6%, growler from the brewery. Hazy medium golden with a 1/2 finger off-white head, low retention. Aroma of some sweaty Cascade hops, moderate sweet rye notes, and some caramel malt, though not too spicy. Flavor still has plenty of Cascade hops adding a bit of a floral note with moderate rye presence, some toasty malt and light caramel following. Bitterness peaks at a 5 in the dry finish. Light to moderate carbonation with a medium body. Pretty good, considering I get whiny when Cascades are used
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Elwood (2552) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUN 26, 2010
Serving: Draft at the brewpub
It pours a cloudy gold color with a pillowy white head. The nose has some spicy rye notes, grains, a good bit of florals, and some pale malt. The florals really come across in the taste. Light honeysuckle, pale malt, and an understated rye note round out the flavors. Light to medium body with soft carbonation and a lingering floral finish. A very nice rye ale. All I would ask for is a touch more rye.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours an orange body with an off white head. Earth y spicy tones with some light rye and pine resins. Dry with a hint of earth and some light citrus tones. Okay.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 9, 2010
Tap at Willi. Pours a peachy light amber with a good lasting head and lacing. Aroma is lightly earthy, spicy hops, sweet toasty malts, light honey floral, earthy spicy rye malts, citrus and light pine needle. Toasty malt flavor, earthy rye, light spice floral and citrus cascade- mostly clean finish- as warms gets a slight soapy finish.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 boto (1665) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - NOV 28, 2009
Draught @ Brewpub: This one poured a cloudy, darker golden color. There was a small white head on it, and only a little lacing from it. The aroma is lighter. Some citrus and rye to the nose. The taste has rye, and some citrus tartness to it. Medium bodied. A Very Nice brew.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (8335) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 5, 2009

Poured an almost clear orange with relatively no head. Flavor was way more reminicent of an IPA, didn’t get the rye as much as I expected.
