Hazy deeper orange pour, weak foam. Nose is vanilla cake. Taste is seltzer, lightly bitter, not offensive, bland. Harsh finish. Not nearly as bad as other house beers.

On tap in a pint glass: Pours hazy golden with a decent white head. Aroma of lemon and other citrus fruits. Taste is fairly malty but is well balanced with a nice amount of nugget hops. Medium body nice carbonation very smooth. Very nice beer!

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2012 On draft at brewery, a smoky and hoppy flavor that finished bitter. Pretty cool

Ancient backlog. Aroma overpoweringly citrus, and it must have COMPLETELY overridden the malt because normally that would be a very good note for me yet I scored it only a 6. Flavor of extremely tangy, bitter citrus, essentially grapefruity with some pomegranate as well, and some toffee notes hiding in there.

Pint @ brewpub. 8/22/09 Good aroma, sweet, I got some fleshy fruit, apricot/peach when cold and thought it got grassy as it warmed. Cloudy brownish orange color, good head, ok lace. Bitter sweet flavor, initial bitterness gave way to a sweet taste. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Nice brew, has bite, nice aroma, not strong, but had more going on than my score might indicate.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a super cloudy light brown with a thick off-white head. Aroma is super citrusy with lots of orange peel. Flavor is citrusy initially with some caramel malt and toffee. Very delicious IPA and my favorite beer of the day at Willimantic. 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)

(growler consumed half an hour after being filled at the brewery) Hazy amber body with small but persistent off-white head, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, some catty, pine. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/pine, some cattiness. Fairly dry finish. Light-medium body, some acidity, light chalkiness, low carbonation. Definitely some bitterness and a good hop burp, but a little more subtle than some of their other IPAs.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange amber with a big, pure white head - tight bubbles, but somehow comes away fluffy. Sweet orange nose, light sweet caramel notes. Pleasant, medium bitter with a sweet twist. Tangerine, peach and pepper bitter.Excellent!
