An American IPA with brilliant golden color and aromas of pine, passionfruit and citrus coming from the generous amount of American and Australian hops. Deceptively smooth 7% abv with a crisp, dry finish and moderate bitterness.

On tap at during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from Pigskin. Clear golden orange color. Thin white head. Good lace. Medium body. Smooth, more soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Very grassy, herbal, earthy big hop aroma. Good moderate to stronger bitter taste. Very light sweet. Lightly piney, lightly spicy hop profile. Pretty assertive and aggressive spicy hop. Stronger, flavorful brew.

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2013 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy fruity hops. The flavor was bitter and tangy with fruity hops and touches of citrus and pine. Medium length tangy fruity hop finish. Medium body. Ok.

Pours slightly hazy golden wth small white head. Clear aroma of hops, with subtle notes of citrus. Intense, bitter flavour of hops, with touches of citrus and grassy notes. Subtle sweetish hints to offset the bitterness. Lingering, bitter aftertaste. Nice and clean.

Pours a clear golden color with a thick off white head...great retention and lacing. Aroma has lots of stonefruits...mango, peach...and some orange and melon. Flavor follows suit and adds layers of melon and spice...fabulous floral hoppy flavor. Mouthfeel is light/medium and the finish is fruity/herbal and bitter.

Draft. Pours a translucent copper with a beige head of foam. Aroma is grassy, fruity, and herbal. Good lord this is a tasty IPA. Sweet at first but gives way to a mild bitterness in the finish. Very good. I had no idea how great this beer was. Just as deserving as the peanut butter coffee Porter of praise.

4 oz sample at the brewery. Pours a clear golden orange color with a small frothy head, leaves some webbing. Looks oily on the sides. Awesome aroma. Great mix of fruit, flowers, and pine. Reminds me of Witch’s Hat Big Doedish, which I love. Taste is very good as well. Light sweetness and light bitterness. Lots of passionfruit, citrus, pine, and flowers. A little pale malt in the finish. Medium body and a fairly oily mouthfeel. Love this IPA.

On tap a Pigskin, poured into a OBW sample glass. Pours lgiht amber with very little head. Taste is pine, grapefruit with slight bitter hop finish. Slight off taste in the center. I like my IPAs a certain way and am hard on them if they go away from this ideal. Pretty good beer.
