Aroma: Very faint malt aromas. Could be water. Appearance: Clear gold with minimal head. Taste: Light bitterness with a light sweetness in the finish. Palate: Light body, slick texture, average carbonation, dry finish. Overall: Clearly a craft beer designed for the macro crowd, it works for what it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at OBW. Poured clear light golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer but good for style.

Sample at Pigskin Sports Bar & Grill as part of Ohio Brew Week. Clear straw color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden-amber color with a small foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was dryish with a floral and fruity hop presence. The flavor was bitter and dryish with fruity hops, crisp floral hops and a herbal undertone. Very long dry hoppy finish. Medium body.

On tap during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from Pigskin. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Good thin white head. Leaves good, more full lace. Light to medium body. Lighter, kind of soft, smooth carbonation. More dry finish. Bready malt, bit of pepper, lightly spicy hop, bit of grass. Light to moderate hop flavor profile. Bitter taste, light bit of sweet. Very nice, enjoyable hoppy take on a kolsch

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, especially raspberry, and perfume hops. Flavor is also sweet and fruity, more fruity than I’d expect from a kolsch (not in a bad way) with floral hops in the finish and some bitterness. Tasty kolsch, it’s different from most beers in its style, with a nice fruity flavor. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)
