3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden-amber color with a small foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was dryish with a floral and fruity hop presence. The flavor was bitter and dryish with fruity hops, crisp floral hops and a herbal undertone. Very long dry hoppy finish. Medium body.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from Pigskin. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Good thin white head. Leaves good, more full lace. Light to medium body. Lighter, kind of soft, smooth carbonation. More dry finish. Bready malt, bit of pepper, lightly spicy hop, bit of grass. Light to moderate hop flavor profile. Bitter taste, light bit of sweet. Very nice, enjoyable hoppy take on a kolsch

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Pours a pale straw color with a big white head. Aroma is dry and grassy. Tastes grassy and bready. One of the best kolsches I’ve had.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, especially raspberry, and perfume hops. Flavor is also sweet and fruity, more fruity than I’d expect from a kolsch (not in a bad way) with floral hops in the finish and some bitterness. Tasty kolsch, it’s different from most beers in its style, with a nice fruity flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice aroma of light fruit. Pours a clear light gold in color, with a thin white head. Clean, crisp flavor, with hints of light fruit and a touch of grassy hops in the finish. A really well done Kolsch, and a great tasting sessionable beer.
