May 17, 2004 Lots of creamy chocolate in the nose, alcohol notes. Flavor is smooth, but not much going on. Some odd medicine notes in the finish. Palate is pretty thin for this style.

Jan 30, 2004 BEAUTIFUL beer. Looked a lot like the beauty of Guinness, completely with the light fluffy head.
Not much of a smell whatsoever.
Taste: a hint of smokiness, but not really enough to make it all worthwhile. Not bad, but I really expected more.
Light and watery in the mouthfeel.
I had two of these back to back, and it didn't fill me up. However, after two I had the urge to switch to another (and better) brew.
