A brilliant and engaging brewpub pale ale the type of which you never expect and crave for more when you encounter.

Surprise factor. Superb spicy hops are multi-layered, orangey. Very active carbonation enhances the refreshment. Effective peppery finish. Toasty and soft malt character. Seems more bitter with every sip.

Quickly becomes headless.
jerc (3268), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 2, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Amber body with a small white head. Lightly hoppy aroma (6+) and light malt. Moderately bitter flavour, very light supportive malt. Average palate. This is pleasant enough but a bit muted. It essentially tastes like the IPA Light, which while quaffable enough lacks the oomph of the IPA. Sammy (3240), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 17, 2008 At the brewery. Golden colour with good foamy lace. C-hop aroma. Medium mouthfeel. ABove-average carbonation. An understated IPA sort of Pale. Not bad. Drew (2377), Kent, Ohio, USA Feb 9, 2003 This is a nice lightly hopped session ale. A bit of malt in this for body, but should be thicker. All of this brewer's beers seem somewhat overcarbonated and on the thin side. Dogbrick (2348), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 2, 2006 Sample at the brewpub: Clear amber color with a medium thin bone white head. Thin, spotty lacing. Hoppy, floral aroma. Medium-bodied with a good amount of citrusy hops, as well as some toasted malt. The bitterness doesn’t last very long but it is nice while it is there. The finish is dry and bitter, with hops and a touch of fruit. A pretty good session ale.
