COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden ale with a strong citrus taste from the addition of Amarillo hops. ABV 5.2% New improved recipe. Brewed stronger for more flavour.

Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, sweet hops. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130810]

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours lightly hazy, bright gold with a creamy white head. Nose of clean grapefruit and tangerine. Light to medium sweet flavor with basic pale malts and bitter citrus rind. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Bitter grapefruit to finish with melon and tangerine as well. Nice, pretty clean overall.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Almost clear gold beer, little white head. Light palate, semi dry. Decent hops here. Light floralness. Good marmalade, little orange and lemon. Light dry finish. Clean, fresh, citric, nice!

Bottle shared at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’13, 10/08/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is juicy hops, orange, touch of grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, citrus tang, grass, light hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with light hop bitterness. Nice GB affair.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. Thanks to DJMonarch. Hazed orange , thin white head. Punchy American c-hop aroma, with berry notes. Assertive cleanish bitterness. Sweetish malt. Pretty decent stuff. Better than I was expecting.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours lightly hazy golden yellow with a small bubbly white head. The nose is light orange, peach, apricot, earth and wood. The taste is light, bitter, straw, wood, citric, peppery and grass with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A pleasant surprise indeed. Good bitterness and rather juicy aroma.
