Tap at the brewpub. Pretty dark amber in color, with a thin and lasting head. Definite roastiness in the aroma. Flavor has some strong chocolate and coffee flavors up front, with some malty roastiness as well and a little bit too much hop bitterness than would be balanced. Smooth and just thick enough for the style. Overall, slightly unbalanced but the best this brewpub has to offer so far.
