Medium creamy pale beige head. Clear coppery body. Light floral blackberry aroma with herbal notes. Dry-sweet fruity blackberry taste with resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth, flat mouthfeel. Dryish floral blackberry aftertaste with wooden dusty strawy notes. Lovely, drinkable beer, with vivid flavours. (0.284l cask at The Wharf, Manchester.)

Bottle. Golden with a thin head. Aromas are lots of biscuit with caramel and floral honey. Low lemon with earthy, leafy notes and pepper. Flavours are sweet, dry biscuit with a very peppery, nettle palate. Light blackberry and lemon with a dry finish. Some soapiness. OK.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 29/12/12. Clear light golden with a medium sized off white head that retains well. Nose is malt, grain, light hops, some fruit. Taste follows. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a little hop bitterness in the finish. Average, drinkable bitter, a little on the bland side.

Bottle. Clear golden ale with a decent creamy head. Nose is like confectionery peaches and some grassiness. Mouth is fizzy, but a bit bland and tasteless aside from a acidic bitter. Thin and a bit overly subtle for me.

Nice clear amber beer. Thinnish head. Fine aroma. Tastes consistent Throughout the pint. Bitter zingy citrus hay. Clean finish. Reminiscent of barley sugar sweets.

Cask handpull, The Salmon, Leicester, 23/05/12. Orange-gold under a dense white collar. Aroma limited to a shave of orange/lemon peel. Rounded, well-balanced, soft flavour comprising jellied orange, blackcurrant and lemon wine gum hints, toasty pale malts. Nice drop.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Pleasant subtle hoppiness but a thin body slightly dissapoints. Not a lot of impact but still quite pleasant.
