Cask conditioned at The Lazy Trout, Meerbrook, Staffs. Gold with white head. Quite a smooth malty beer, reasonably bitter and dry with a light citrusy edge. Hints of baked breadcrust. Particularly pleasant during a long bike ride.

Bottle at home. Poured a pale clear gold with a medium bright white head. Aroma is peach, lime and citrus, hints of strawberries and cream. Flavour is hoppy and light, some mild bitterness in the finish. Quite nice.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, fruity and minimally strawy aroma, cautious hints of apple, gooseberry. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, slightly grainy, minimally strawy, bitter hoppy overtones, bitter finish; light body, minimally watery.

Cask@lychegatetavern, wolverhampton. Straw coloured beer with thin head. Faint malt aroma. Taste is malts with a mild hop bitter finish. Does have lager tones to it. Thin body. An ok beer.

Cask at Monsal Head, Derbyshire - a creamy taste and aroma, light gold in colour and smooth palate. Very good.

Bottle, The Beer Emporium, Sandbach. Pours a pale straw colour, not much carbonation, aromas of sweet malt faintly hoppy. Not too much flavour and a little thin on the mouthfeel.

On cask at JDW, Stoke. Pale golden with lively white head. A pale ale with a lager malt taste. More malt than hops. OK.

Bottle. Clear and yellow with very little body.Some bitterness and hops.Slight citrus presence but overall fairly bland but still quite pleasant. A good session bitter.
