Cask Stillage at the ABC Festival, Altrincham Market 29/08/2010 Some hop aroma. Amber coloured fruity and a little rich on the palate with a hint of bitterness and dryness in a crisp and nutty malt finish.

Cask conditioned Handpump Althorp Coaching Inn Great Brington. A golden beer with a white head and copious lacing. Grassy hops in the nose. Reasonably bitter in the mouth. Hops become a little citrus. A fairly refreshing light hoppy beer.

Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Amber gold with a thin head.  Aromas are biscuit and melon with lemon.  Clean, spicy hops with some grapefruit.  Flavours are sweet caramel and lemon with grapefruit bitterness.  Lightly nutty and toasted with a dry finish.  Decent.

Cask, The Babby, Derby, 30/11/11. Orange gold with a tight drum of head. Metallic aroma. Some metallic, slightly regurgitated lager/bucks fizz character about this I don’t like. Dank woodland notes, almond like a park bench lager. Catfood. Didn’t finish a half.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma is a little hoppy with alcohol, barley and grass. Nicely bitter with similar flavours, mild carbonation and a dry finish. A long bitter hay linger also. OK.

Cask at The Railway View, Macclesfield. Clear dark gold with medium white head, good lacing. Nice hop aroma with hints of vanilla and caramel. Smooth fruity flavour with a bitter finish. More good work from Wincle. The only criticism is I live in the nearest town but can rarely get their beer. If you provide, I’ll drink it.

Lots of sediment, but that might be be me pouring it badly which made it quite lively, quite balanced, slightly dry and bitter

Newcastle Town FC beer festival. Light golden ale, butterscotch, fruits. Smooth with light carbonation. Enjoyable.
