No aroma on what appears to be an unfiltered blonde ale. Very light body and some vegetal flavors are not hidden. This beer is refreshing but not special and certainly forgettable.

From a 16 oz can...poured in a Great Lakes Brewing tulip glass. Golden with significant head and lace. Aroma of straw hops and amber malts. Moderate carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of straw hops, minerals, barley water, slight corn. Overall representative of the style...low malts and hops, slight sweetness, but there is something there (minerals, slight band-aid) that takes away from what should be easy drinkability.

16 oz. can. Pours a very hazy pale gold with a thin-moderate white head that is gone by the second sip and leaves no lace. The aroma is grain with some notes of orange and grapefruit. The flavor is grainy with some mild hops bitterness at the finish. Light-medium bodied.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2014 Appearance: pours a bubbly 2" white head that recedes fairly quickly. Color is a mostly clear gold with moderate carbonation bubbles present. Aroma: fairly mild aroma. There is some sweetness from the toasted barley and a hint of spice (from the hops I assume). Mouthfeel: light and watery with the standard fluffiness of an ale. The finish is somewhat dry. Flavor: mild sweetness from the barley as well as a mild fruit flavor akin to plum or apricot. The hop bitterness is mild but does linger a bit in the finish. Overall: This a very pleasant session ale. It highly drinkable and has a pleasant, easy flavor.
