The aroma was cooked corn with some dirt. There was also fresh green beans. The taste had some soybeans and bell peppers. Actually, I did not like this at the start, but it grew on me. Smooth and light. A pretty good pale lager. anders37 (4607), Malmö, Sweden

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 2, 2006 German-style lager. Nutty malt aroma was the highpoint. Green bottle, very pale, poofy white head. Moderate hopping, lightly metallic German hops. Perhaps a knock below, say Beck’s or St. Pauli. Moderately sweet. Finishes off effervescently, with moderate bitterness. Not worth going ot of the way for, but probably a safe bet in Namibia. Saarlander (1577), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 26, 2006 A malty, sweet lager, sticky on the lips. skunked smell, cardboard. stale maybe, I’d drink again ice cold, but probably would pass on it. iamrobin (3), East Timor does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 23, 2006 Chill to almost freezing - turn up the Barby and make sure the slab is ready and you can’t go wrong. Its soft, not too fizzy and just the right sie of malty for a good hot day. It has hints of tobacco and just a little shade of burnt cedarwood....if you believe all the b*llocks that the others have written - ignore them - it slips down a treat and tastes fantastic. eaglefan538 (2360), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Another drinkable oddball country lager worth a try only if you want to say you had a beer from Namibia. Poured with lots of paleness, very little color in other words. The head was thin, very thin, but remained on the surface. The aroma was corn-like, but not overpowering. After a few minutes (I can’t believe I sniffed it again... it’s only a pale lager), a doughiness came out, very odd for a lager / swill. Hmmm, interesting. Flavor was disappointing, balance being the best spot: not too malty sweet, not too bitter, a good use of hops and malts, but both were somewhat weak and the overall flavor wasn’t that tasty. Who knows how long these bottles sit around before they get into our hands?
