| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 18, 2005 Bottle at Patina Grill, not the first place I would think I would find a new beer. A new wine perhaps, but not a new beer. Adverstized as being from South Africa, not Namibia. Pale gold, decent head. Aroma faintly of seaweed. Flavor was of seaweed with a touch of green vegetables. Hops were there, and I think the slightly skunky nature of the beer was intentional as opposed to from being mishandled, but this in the end just wasn’t very good. frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 18, 2005 Typical light-golden with fast effervescence and a tiny white head. Aroma was light, powdery spice & grassy hops leading to a flavor that was non-descript. Light bodied and sort of crisp. Meh... all it’s really good for is a country "tick".

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Oct 7, 2005 Canned 0,33L. Dense and abundant foam, much lively and friable. Good persistence and adhesion. Yellow pale color, bubbly and diamond. Light alcohol and malty scent, light herbaceous notes. Fresh taste, pungente and little bitter. Watery and light in the end.
Thanks to Stefy for this beer! bierkoning (6025), La Tropica, Netherlands

Grainy flavor witha hint of caramel. Cardboard. Another crappy lager from a faraway place. Bland and past its peak, if there ever was a peak... highlandlad (1258), Sydney, Australia
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 27, 2005 Can labelled "Windhoek Draught". (Had the same abv and fits the description.) I needed a lift after being bumped off a flight (thank you Emirates) and sent to a Nairobi hotel to cool my heels for 24 hours. Can’t say this did the job. It’s a very pale gold with a tall head that left some spackled foam. However, the aroma was a nasty mix of sulphur and eggs, with musty corn thrown in for bad measure. Moderate carbonation and typical lager body. On the tongue, it’s oversweet and a bit buttery but underhopped. Not a patch on their excellent Urbock. (Panari Hotel, Nairobi) 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 24, 2005 Bottle courtesy of Matta. Beer #4 in the palelagerathon I believe. Pale yellow, decent white head which fades to a small layer and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is of noble hops that have been lightstruck. Light bodied with moderate carbonation levels. Flavor is lightly malty, a bit crisp/drying. Rather bland and quite typical. JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 24, 2005 Bottle. Golden yellow colour with medium white head. Smells of corn and sweet malt. Flavour is malt and cor. Though it is crisp and not unrefreshing; had much worse.
