Eh taste has that dryness that makes your mouth taste bad and theres a little taste of cream in with the dryness which i about as bad as it gets.
Not one to have again anyway. TheBeerGod (3147), Newport News, Virginia, USA

Pours straw yellow with an erupting white head. It calms leaving broken lacing along the sides of the glass. Sniffing it once it’s calmed down brings forth grass, hoppy notes, light bread dough, and thinned malts. Taste was surprisingly sweeter and pleasant. Light grassy notes, some citrus, bread dough, flowery hops and a bit of cardboard. However, this is crisp enough despite the medium carbonation fizziness. Overall, however, it is very light and somewhat refreshing. Finishes with grassy hops, light straw, bread, and sweet malts. Not as bad as expected. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 12, 2005 I enjoyed this Namibian brew at NYC’s only South African restaurant. While the food was hit-or-miss, the Windhoek was more of a certainty. 100% miss. It’s a light, crisp, overly fizzy bland lager identical to the thousands of others I’ve tried over the years. Nevertheless, it was fun to try. ALLOVATE (1126), Perth, Australia
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2005 As far as light lagers go, this didn’t turn out to be that bad a drop. Poured from the bottle into a stem glass, a big fluffy white head formed atop a brilliant gold body. Very fine carbonation couldn’t hold the head on long but it laced well down the glass. Generous malt nose with sour grassy hops, resinous and a little oily. In the mouth, an initial hit of honey and sugar upfront led through to a slightly disappointing cardboardy mid-palate. Quite bitter in the back, very clean and reasonably balanced although it seemed a little watery. Light in body, and a good bitter end giving it a little length. Would make a good summer thirst quencher and at only 4% and brewed to the German purity law, you could pretty much down it all day. Not too bad!!! MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 16, 2005 Bright light golden, graying head, thin lacing. Very sweet, adjuncts/corn, vegetables, and rather grassy. The only decent thing about getting ripped off at a restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom was the opportunity to try two crappy African lagers.
