dornoy (679), Lyngby, Denmark Sep 16, 2004 Updated: Nov 5, 2006Pale colour, white thin head, tastes malty but not too much. Tastes refreshing. Not spectacular, but well made and quite nice. The best African beer I have tasted so far. chriso (4685), London, Greater London, England Sep 12, 2004 OK, I only bought this because I hadn’t had a beer from Namibia before. It’s just another dull lager, but there’s nothing really objectionable about it. There’s a touch of malt and some sweetness. Short of backbone, but drinkable. 340ml bottle, from beersofeurope.co.uk. BBE 30 September 2004.
Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark Aug 26, 2004 Another country, another bland lager.... Thick and lasting (!) white head on a pale yellow body. Lighly hoppy and slightly metallic aroma. Thin flavor, little malt and some citrus. Flat. maupie (593), Roosendaal, Netherlands Aug 14, 2004 This beer has a golden body - hue apperance and a white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor tast was mild bitter. madquacker (707), Canberra ACT, Australia Aug 5, 2004 Seemed very dry to me with a tart flat finish. Could do with a bit more kick or grunt but not a bad natural/ german type beer. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 3, 2004 Golden color, light hoppy aroma, dry malty taste, light body, light bitter finish. presario (2955), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jul 20, 2004 Bottle best before end June 04. Head is gone before the bottle is put down. Attractive gold colour that’s lost its head. Drinkable light lager. Medium body. Very light aroma may be a little off due to age or light. GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 19, 2004 Pale yellow-gold colour with a small white head. Aroma is slightly skunky, with some mild hoppiness. Flavour is mild and pleasant, with some cidery notes and a moderately bitter finish. An average green bottle lager. Thanks to jercraigs.
