12oz bottle pours a totally clear, light yellow with a thin, clumpy white head. Doesn’t look great. Smells ok, I guess. Smells like a typicaly pale lager, fresh cut grass, white bread, yeast, a little artificial lemon, some artificial sweetness too. Flavor is a little off, a littly skunky, grassy, pale malt extract that has not been fully fermented, green apple skins, hay. Watery finish. Very bland.
1.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 BeerLimey (2112) - California, USA - NOV 17, 2003
Clear as clear straw appearnce, lively carbonation, snowy head of foam. Lemon malt aroma with a strange hint of spice. Sweet all malt palate, slight substance, sour in the finish.

Further along in the beer tasting i had last night, we opened this baby up. Brought back from Africa from my good buddy Pfoxyjohn, and im glad that i was able try this: Clear golden, small thin off whitehead that quickly dissipates. Taste was soft, grainy fairly malty with a noticeable grassiness midpalate. But all in all it was a pretty refreshing beer. Thanks John!

I had this once when it was on special offer. Rather weak, especially seeing that it is advertised as a ’premium lager’. Not much of anything going on here.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 asheft (2032) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 15, 2005
This is one of the "yellow beers" that I sampled during my recent trip to South Africa. Since these beers fit into the common catagory of "refreshing" pissy lagers, it was not worth the social stigma of whipping out my pen and taking tasting notes with my new South African aquaintences. Among these beers are Windhoek Lager, Amstel Lager, Castle Lager, and Hansa. Windhoek was the best of these, especially when it was on draft.

Had this from a bottle in Luwawa Forest in Malawi. Pale gold, nice white head. Very soapy and nut. Not the best lager in the world. Eh.
