Not a big fan of light beers. Watery taste, but that is what you would expect, a watered down light beer version of the real thing. Who wants a light anw?

Very vague hint of bread in the aroma, and not much else. Decent head and darker yellow colour, not a bad looking beer, especially for a "light" brew. Tastes like bread, sort of a dark rye. No hints of alcohol (but what do you expect at 2.5%!) or anything else. Not much going on here. Almost tastes like a low-alcohol, like in the 0% range.

Not as bad as the abv and "light" would imply. I imagined it would be a lot more watery and flavorless than it was. Had a descent hop profile actually. Skunky type hops, but I am not at all opposed to this character gievn the right profile.

Pours very clear light golden colour. Quite a dense lasting white head with substantial laacing. Mash aroma with a hint of hops. Not thin at all considiring it’s a light beer. Taste is slightly malty balanced with hops but definately not bitter. Finishes with malt and hops flavour. This is my favourive South African commercial beer.

Golden body with slight head. Grassy and more skunky nose. Some malt in the taste. Watery of course, and slightly bland. But enjoyable.

The aroma is sweet and malty with a cereal quality. There is also a hint of metal which I guess is the hops. The appearance is pale gold with a small, foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma with a slightly bitter finish. The palate is smooth. This is not a great beer but its outstanding for a low alcohol beer.

(Bottle 34 cl) Clear, pale golden with a dense and lacing white head. Mashy aroma. Light in body, a little malt, a little cardboard and a surprisingly well hopped finish. 030508
