gam (1068), brisbane, Australia Oct 25, 2009 Not a strong head but carb okay clear light gold pour, aroma grain hay bread malt flavour grainy corn sweetness, these are not world beaters but they taste good at a session smooth enough, mild bitter light fruity taste just a little watery at the finish. jimhilt (1664), Bow, New Hampshire, USA Sep 21, 2009 Pours a three finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving a little lace. Crystal clear pale amber color. Grassy nose. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is sweet hay, hops must be balancing as this is rather inoffensive. As usual special doesn’t mean anything. $1.83 for a 11.5oz bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT. DeanF (285), Paris, France Aug 31, 2009 Smells of corn starch, alcohol, and some grains. Has an average yellow appearance. Tastes of sour grains with some hops on the back end. To be honest, it doesn’t seem very "special" to me! Travlr (700), Washington, Washington DC, USA Aug 16, 2009 At the BP station near the InterContinental Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia. A step above Windhoek Lager and definitely stronger. Still an average, unassuming, not too exciting lager. MrRoss (614), Delta, British Columbia, Canada Jul 7, 2009 Updated: Jul 8, 2009From Vin de Pays of Long Beach, CA. Poured a smallish white head above a body of clear, medium gold. Aroma waa pleasant yet atypical, with maybe some malt but with also an unidentifiable quality. Rather like the taste, in fact. Mouthfeel was okay but did lighten up at the finish. An average yet drinkable beer. MrBunn (1520), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 20, 2009 Bottle. I’m not quite sure how this ended up on the shelves in Pittsburgh, but whatever. Pours a medium/light gold with a pretty good head on it. Aromas and flavor are similar: corn, grass and a little bit of honey or pear sweetness... (but then maybe it’s just more corn.) italianjohn (338), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 13, 2009 Pours yellow with white head sweet malty aroma sweet taste grassy not very filling its decent stuff almost 40 bucks for a case kind of pricey to add a country but at least its drinkable Narnad (682), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Feb 15, 2009 "Premium Natural Power" is not a way I would describe this beer. Pours an almost fluorescent yellow color, very clear, highly carbonated with a thin white head. Aroma is pretty much a typical pale lager smell; sweet graininess with lots of noble hops. Flavor has the hops hitting first with an almost hay like taste, moving into a sweet grainy middle and finishing with a slight alcohol presence and very dry. Beer is smooth but does have a bit more flavor than the typical pale lager.
