Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Pale bitter named after the area where Alexander Peden is rumoured to have preached from. Pure Maris Otter malt with Fuggles and a late charge of Goldings for a lovely hoppy flavour with a bitter finish.

Tried this at the weekend at The Faiblford Inn. Spoke to the owner/brewer who confrmed this was an improved recipe there had been a bad batch which may have been the one in Reading

Nice light beer and is the ’standard’ beer served in the brewry/pub. The small country pub has a great atmosphere and other guest ales are served.

Cask at Glenrothes BF 08. Nose is passionfruit and mango, strong and dominating. Mouth is hoppy grassy bitter, then the mango and passionfruit almost burning, ouch. Lasts fruity, Bit too severe at points.
