Swing-top MHD 25.12.12. Very sweet nose, caramel and earth but just loaded up front with sweetness. Dark copper with ruby highlights and a rocky, lacing tan head. Taste is sweet with faint roast, some caramel and earth, light hop backing, light-medium nuts, good melanoidin level. Creamy light body and a volume pleasure.

Poured form half liter bottle into German glass mug (stein). Short head faded to tan skin covering surface. Minimal lacing on glass. Deep, dark coffee color. Taste is stronger than smell. Good roast graininess apparent in first taste. No strong aftertaste. A good winter warmer. Enjoying with some smoked German sausages,,,,
