Sehr viel Kohlensäure. Der Antrunk ist mild-neutral. Zum Hauptteil kommt eine leichte Malznote hinzu, die sich aber stark im Hintergrund hält.
Der Nachgeschmack ist leicht malzig, ganz leicht herb und recht sehr neutral.

Nose is pale malt, slightly salty, citrus and toffee.
Taste comprises caramel, lemon, yeast, a touch vinegary.
Medium bodied, light spritz in the carbonation, dry and crisp in the finish.
Pretty unbalanced - not a great Zwickel or beer full stop, just about drinkable!

50cl bottle at CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Leighton. It pours a clean golden colour with a fine white head. Aroma is just off, with feet and band aids but in the wrong way. Taste is sour, lactic acid, some funk and feet in a good way this time. Slight sweetness to cut through the sourness. This bottle is bad and infected, but if it was for the taste alone this woudl have been a very fine berliner weisse. Weird but tasty.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell, London. Pours hazy gold with a light, white foam head. Smells like funky, doughy bread. Flavor is quite sour, lots of lactic tang, some lemons. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Tangy lemony finish, sour lemons. If you told me this was a berliner weisse I would say it’s good, but as a zwickel this beer is in absolutely horrific shape.
