couleur ambrée; petite mousse blanche; arômes et goût maltés et très légèrement fruités; texture un peu crémeuse; peu d’amertume; ressemble plus à une bitter anglaise qu’à une APA

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Hasle. Dark golden color, good foam. Immediate hops, nice malty backbone, good fruitiness, some dried fruits. Medium body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Enjoyable, I am found of the combination of hops and malt

Bottle. Pours a clear bubbly amber body with a small white head. Nose is floral perfumy tones, caramel, biscuits, rose water and hints of citrus and white sugar in the back. Taste is caramel, biscuits, mild toffee, citrus and hints of perfume, honey and bitter herbs. Light, near-watery body, medium to high carbonation. Sticky, perfumy, thin and not very refreshing at all; how is this an APA again? Or any kind of good beer, for that matter?

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a dense, off-white head. The aroma is biscuity and citrusy, with some pine cones and grass. It’s medium to full-bodied and dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Quite dry. Some roasted notes, caramel too, in the flavor, it’s biscuity and with a nice bitterness. Pine cones and citrus peel too. Lasting dry and bitter finish with some malty flavors. Too malt dominated this one, but drinkable indeed. 150131
