1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottled 28/10/14, so about 3 weeks old. Dark brown, pretty clear, still, big foamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, pollen, perfume. Body is light, touch of carbonation, foamy. Taste is metallic, blood, tangy, watery. Yuck - worst IPA I’ve ever tried. Smells fine, but tastes terrible. I can honestly say I’d prefer a Carling! I’ve had to decrease aroma, palate and appearance scores in order to rate this fairly.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Grunting Growler Glasgow, pours a light but rich mahogany with a fluffy third of an inch thick beige head. Aroma, nice note of resin and pine with caramel. Taste, citrus but cloaked by malt and fruit with a dry bitter finish. I thought this a really rather decent ale which I’d look out for in future.
