P-51 is a robust and clean-finishing porter. Rich malty flavors highlight hints of chocolate, coffee, nuts and smoke. At 8% ABV, this dark beer will warm even the coldest South Sound nights.

Had this months ago. Almost dark, thin brown head. Aroma is soft and full of roast, slightly sour. Taste is strong, roasty, has coffee and chocolate. Cocoa. Easygoing acidity. Nicely drinkable and quite enjoyable.

Keg at the taproom, 07/11/14. Dark mahogany brown with a decent tan covering. Nose is earthy roast, cocoa poweder, toffee, nutty strokes. Taste comprises chocolate, sweeter tunes being played out, dark toffee, light roast, mellow vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough porter, not much complexity but an easy drinker and drinks below ABV.

Draft - Dark roast and raisin with some molasses. Jet black with a decent light brown head. Smokey with some light roast malts and Avery watery thin finish.

This is a pitch black beer with a thick rust colored head and a rich meaty aroma of chocolate and coffee. It is medium to light bodied while the flavor is a bit intense - bitter dark chocolate, 70% cacao, some umami savoriness and roasted coffee in the finish. It is a porter that won’t let you down.

Pours like spent black motor oil, and produces a very small amount of brown head. Aorma is roasted sugars, and a mild vanilla note. Taste is a little sharper, with baker’s chocolate flavors and acidity. $2.89/16oz can

Very interesting porter. Crazy carbonation. With the gentlest of pours, produces a massive khaki head. Aroma is fruity, sweet with roast and chocolate and a hint of nutiness. Taste is fruity, with a bitter roast and a finish of light chocolate. The one really big downer to this is the body....8% and feels like 4%. Super thin. Flavor is there and flavor wise....it would be a stout if the body agreed.

Can (16oz $3): black with beautiful tan head. Huge dark chocolate taste. Too much for me. Thick mouth feel. No need to try again.

"Been sittin on this pint can for a while. Robust and smooth feel. Nutty, smoky, chocolate malt balls, light coffee. Can still smell too much alchohol for an 8% beer though. a little harsh at first but mellows. Solid, although nowhere near the best in style..."

Can. Roasty, bit sweet, dark and alright. Not so excited as everyone else about this, but nice enough.

Very good ballsy, big chocolate and vanilla fronted. Rich without being cloying. Perhaps a little one trick, but still a great brew.
