Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, small head. Starts strong, intense malty, mild sweetness. Interesting chocolate notes. Finish well balanced, warming, roasty-malty. Great doppelbock!

Bottle pours a clear brown-amber color, aromas of malt, caramel, light spice. Flavors follow suit of the aromas, touch of nuts with some booze thrown in, solid beer.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a beautiful brown amber colour with a small creamy head on the head. Aroma of strong bready malts with sweet caramel. Flavour is very rich with strong bready malts, caramel, grass, mild herbs and some alcohol. Medium bodied, rich mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes sweet, high malty and rich with malt. A solid doppelbock.

Bottled 500ml (MBS, BB 12/2012)
My first beer from this brewery. Dark ruby color, small beige head. Aroma of rye bread and some dark malts. Medium-bodied. Front has some caramel, then rye bready maltyness, light alcohol, overall sweetness in the background. Later a bit of hops too. Classic doppelbock. Not outstanding but good.

Bottle from mein-biershop.de Red brown color with medium white head. Aroma of honey, roasted malt, dark fruit. Taste, prunes, toasted malt, bready notes, some nuts, burned sugar.. Sweet fruity finish. Little bit more on sweet side, as I like, but overall good Doppelbock.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear nut brown. Raisiny malt aroma. Rich nutty, raisiny malt, medium-full body with soft mouthfeel. Somewhat fruity with restrained sweetness. Low bitterness in a slightly warming finish. Realy good, well balanced doppelbock.

Bottled. Ruby red colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some slight raisins, mild toasted malty notes as well as mild nuttyness. Not that sweet. Flavour is toasted malts, some nutty notes, mild salty notes as well as some nice bitterness balancing up the beer. A bit mouthdrying as for the palate. Quite a pleasant bock.
