Bottle, 4.7%. Clear pale yellow colour. Good stable white head. Clean flavour, some malt. Not sweet and not dry. Good chalk note and good mouthfeel.

Sparkly straw with a big head. Soft and spicy herbal hop note. Definitely feinherb - dry and hoppy. Quite lean in the body with only a little bit of Bavarian malt breadiness. Finishes off-dry and fairly spicy.

Beershine (5196) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUN 19, 2009
Draft @ brewery. Bright clear gold, with thick white head and rising bubbles. Fresh grassy aroma is subtle, earthy, and meadowy. Lots of sweet grain in there. Pretty well-balanced. Soft, gently carbonated and fairly thick. Good dose of hops for a clean floral finish that is balanced by a lot of sweet grains.

pivnizub (8591) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - SEP 12, 2008
Bottle: Pale golden, quickly vanishing white head; distinctive dryish grassy-hoppy nose with a solid sweet pale-malty background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a malty base; slightly lingering dry grassy-hoppy finish. Very decent semi-bohemian Pilsener..........

Bierkrug (2109) - Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2009 A good Bavarian Pils. Not that I am a Pils fan. The brewery bub was just renovated and a nice place where the locals go.

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 22, 2008
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blonde foamy white head of medium size. Sweet, slightly biscuity and cara-malty nose with a delicate herbal hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malt-accented taste with impressions of biscuits and a bready note; sweet and slightly bitter finish with a light hops character. Drinkable and smooth brew, more like a Märzen/Spezial than a Pilsener (19.07.08).

Ungstrup (28458) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2007
Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet grainy - very clean. The flavor is sweet malty with a crisp bitter hoppy note. Quite refreshing.

Quack-Duck (7523) - Down South, GERMANY - AUG 5, 2007
bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear pale yellow, large and fluffy head. Hoppy nose. Quite hoppy, very lively carbonation, which gives it an unusual mouthfeel. Bitter-sweet character, reminds me of a Czech Pilsener. I think I would haven enjoyed it even more, if the carbonation had not been so lively.

Papsoe (25094) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2006
(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a dense, white head. Lightly floral aroma from the hops. Medium-bodied with a lightly sweet malt base and some good, balancing aroma hops making for an excellent and harmonious Pils. 131106
