3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Clear, sparkling, copper coloured indeed, fluffy - slowly collapsing - off-white head; solid aroma of a diluted Doppelbock: roasted malt, dried fruits and sweet dark malt; soft MF, astonishingly full bodied, moderate to solid sweetish-bitter flavour; soft aromatic (fruity-malty) sweet-bitter finish. Very good Dunkel.........

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle, either from Bochum or Bierzwerg - thanks! Clear copper-coloured with a mid-sized off-white head and a chocolate aroma. The first thing I noticed was plenty of chocolate in the flavour. Full-bodied, malty with a touch of toffee and lots and lots of chocolate. Slightly fruity towards the finish, pleasantly hoppy. A delicious Dunkel!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a beige, medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and delicately toasted malty aroma with a(n initially) citrus-fruity and slightly herbal hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with an almost crispy mouthfeel. Slightly toasted malty taste with notes of caramel and more or less fruity elements; rather dry and moderately bitter and hoppy finish, again with an aromatic fruity touch. Could have had more body, but anyway a likeable brew (10.VI.09).
