Zlotta (283) - Bonn, GERMANY - APR 24, 2015
0,5 l bottle from P&M Getränke, best before 28/7/2015, 5.4% abv. Clear, dark amber with a huge, creamy and very fine pored, stable, tan to white head. Beautiful. Weak aroma of toffee and nuts. Sweetish taste of toffee, nuts and hints of coffee. Short, slightly bitter finish with some grassy, roasted notes. Medium body, very smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Very solid dunkel. Not that aromatic, but quite tasty, round and with a pleasant texture.

craighill (54) - GERMANY - MAR 7, 2015
On tap at Ratskeller, Wuerzburg. Clear chesnut coloured with creamy head. Relatively low carbonation. Mild aroma of caramel and sweet bread maltiness. Taste is dark-brown bread crust maltiness. Finishes with a bitterness that is more pronounced than other dunkels. Some malt sweetness, but again, less than in other examples of the style. Enjoyed this.

Almost perfect....only because Kruezberg is the perfect beer! I am new at this website, still learning the fancy words for BEER. This is really good! Lots of flavor, nice color...Kupfer, means copper....so you can guess it looks like copper in color.

The atmosphere can really add to a beer, but I am giving my rating based on drinking this beer back in the USA, not at the restaurant/brewery in Germany. It is in my top 4 beers of all time, but eating the pork at the brewery while drinking Kupfer would make me give this beer 20 out of 20.

McTapps (5554) - Ruhrcity, GERMANY - OCT 14, 2014
Bottle from Fristo Getränkemarkt Bamberg. The beer pours out in a deep brown-ruby colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of malt and barley. Taste of malt, woods, peat, leaves, barley and dark bread. Hints of smoke. Drinakble.

MichaelAwesome (5552) - Wanne-Eickel, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - OCT 13, 2014

Moravius (808) - Berlin, GERMANY - OCT 5, 2014
Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Tiefes Kupferrot, klar, feinporiger beigefarbener Schaum.

Malziger Geruch. Geschmack wird ebenfalls von Malz dominiert. Sehr Süß.
