Bottle from Open All Hours, Keswick. A golden beer with toffee and slight floral notes with red fruit and caramel on the finish.

Golden medium yellow with a soapy white quick disappearing head. Smells of ginger and light lemon citrus. Medium/thin body. Taste of malt, fruit (apple) with a citrus hop bitter finish. Cold it was a wonderful lager, clearly well crafted but as it got warmer it regressed into a standard hay and grass pale lager. Very nice

Bottle from Booths, Windermere. Golden yellow with a whispy head with short duration. Light ginger hops aroma. Citrus hops, medium length bitter finish. Watery mouthfeel. Average lager.
