Skinnyviking (2726), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 15, 2008 Bdottle. Low fluffy off-white lasting head. Hazy very dark red brown body. Aroma vineous with plums and raisin. Dried fruit flavor otherwise the roasted malt dominates. Fair amount of carbonation and hops bitterness and a touch of liquorice. Long aftertaste. Miksu (1286), Jyväskylä, Finland Aug 14, 2008 0.5 l bottle at SOPP 2008, Helsinki. Dark brown color. Caramelly, berryish, smokey and tart aroma with notes of licorice. The flavor is caramelly, chocolatey, berryish, nutty and tart. There is notes of soya sauce and some oud bruin vibes, very original weizenbock. mirjukka (436), LOHJA, Finland Jul 29, 2008 bottle sample 0,2l 5,5€ at SOPP Helsinki

Taste.smoky sweet phenols banana bit crispy. Full bodied. When I will get this next time? FatPhil (2352), Espoo, Finland Jul 28, 2008 500ml bottle (SOPP2008, Helsinki)
Almost tarry aroma. Some ester peak I can’t identify (i.e. it ain’t just a banana). Very full bodied taste. Sweet and light, but thick and succulent. Among the esters in the taste are those of banana as well as other fruitinesses, and on the whole the taste’s quite zingy. Very drinkable and covers 7.8% very well. TBone (5115), Pori, Finland Jul 27, 2008 Bottled
Dark nut brown color, small beige head. Caramel, alcohol and smoke. Toasted banana, caramel and plums. Not so wheaty-banana-like German weizenbock, but sweety and enjoyable.
