Aroma of sweet dark caramel malt and lots of smoky character along with a touch of dark fruitiness. Body has lots of pleasant sweet dark caramel maltiness and mild dark fruity notes with a drier smoky finish. Very well-balanced and enjoyable, just not as "imperial" as it probably should be. faroeviking (6024), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands

This settles as a centimeter of creamy offwhite cream. Aroma is surprisingly sweet, lots of chocolate - the sweetness is slightly fruity. Nice mouthfeel. Slightly vinious. Low carbonated. Roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee, ginger and this lingering fruity sweetness. Great!
