Ungstrup (11354), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 6, 2006 An unclear dark orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong fruity notes - I pick up oranges and peaches. The flavor is sweet at first with notes of yeast, fruit, and hops, but then a note of burnt plastic comes along and ruins the flavor - I guess it is an off-note, leading to a dry somewhat bitter end, but still with the plastic lingering on the tongue. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 8, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a cloudy amber golden with a handsome and frothy off-white head. Very fruity aroma. Fairly light in body with a broad variety of exotic fruity flavours: peach, mango pineapple. And clearly also some elder flower atop a sweetish malt base. Ends dry but not bitter at all. 080906 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 3, 2007 Sample from 50 cL bottle. Pours golden filtered with white head. Aroma is flowery, slight sweet malty. Flavour is hoppy, slight malty, watery. Finish is bitter. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 26, 2007 Bottle.
