At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Served too warm. Hazy golden colour. Fruity sweetish aroma. The flavour is very fruity, but far too sweet for an English IPA, and the bitterness is not impressive.

(Old BA rate - cask)
Straw yellow gold color, and poured with a thin white head. Flowery and citrus hop aromas, just a touch of maltiness. Flowery hops at first, followed by a biscuity malt and yeastiness (bready). Viscous and smooth, coated the palate really well. Limited carbonation (cask). Almost creamy. Hugely drinkable, very nice and well packaged flavors that are spot on for the English IPA style. Well balanced and easy drinking. Still interesting as well. Overall, thought this was an interesting example of the style and was a treat on cask.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2010 Bottle, bought by my brother in Fish & Beer. Wow, this is a nice surprise! My first beer from Wintercoat Brewery, and I have rarely seen such a beautiful beer: Obviously unfiltered, cloudy, yellow, with lumps of yeast in the bottom of the glass. Head is medium dense white, and has good duration. Aroma has a nice amount of flowery hops, and even smoke! Flavor is fantastic too. Obvious are flavors of somehow sweet smoke and flowers. Bitter finish, and very well balanced. Thick, creamy beer. I can’t wait to taste more beers from this little well-brewing brewery.
