Commercial Description:
This beer has the deep, rich almost black color one expects in a stout. Its taste is smooth and pleasant, but also complex due to the combination of several types of malt and grain. Oats enhance the creaminess and give the head its staying-power, as well as contributing to the nut-like character of the aftertaste. The depth of both color and taste are enhanced by the use of roasted barley and chocolate malt.

(Draught@SOPP) Slightly hazy, dark cola color with a small head (although the tap created lots of it). Slightly licoricey, roasted-malty aroma with some caramely sweetness, sourish oat presence and coffee. Slightly sweet, sourish-nutty flavor with coffee, some ash and hints of licorice. A pleasant and balanced oatmeal stout.

Black with a low head. Mild aroma of dark chocolate, coffe and a roasted edge. Sweet flavours of chocolate with contrasting fruity bitterness. The palate is a bit flat though and not very exciting.
