Deep brown, ruby highlights, tan head. Malty-sweet with toffee, bread crusts, figs, plumbs, juniper is on the light side, an earthy spiciness. Good winter warmer.

Taste is very weak . Some sweetnes.. But tastes next to nothing . Yet i did hear it was good ? Better let it warm up a bit ?

11.2oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours dark brown with a lacy, light tan head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some chocolate, caramel, and cereal from the malts, and light hops. Flavor the same, with a nice blend of everything, especially the malts and hints of alcohol on the finish. Smooth texture. A pretty good Belgian beer.

Koffie bruin, bijna zwart bier. Aroma is een tikkeltje zoet, caramel. Smaak proef je de jeneverbes terug. Volle smaak met flink koolzuur zorgt voor een mooi mondgevoel. Nasmaak is heel heftig, bijna een Stout, erg bitter.

Thick creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Very smooth brew.

Slight hazy brown with a small, beige head.Aroma medium+ malty (caramel, slight roasted, honey, dark fruits). Flavor medium+ sweet, light bitter and spicy. Medium to full body. Nice.

On draught at Apex. Dirty brown in color and rich caramel aroma. Tastes like fruit, chocolate, and caramel with a dark alcohol kick on the finish.
