Nice bourbony malt here. It’s strong and interesting in the smell. The dark tan pour is nice, but the beautiful head disappears way too quickly. Smooth and malty on the taste. There is a little left on the tounge thats ok.

Jan 4, 2010 Pint on tap at local pub. Pours a rusty golden color with minimal head. Little to no carbonation. Aroma is sweet and spicy, kind of like black cherry soda. Taste is sweet and kind of one-dimensional, with little to no hops or malt or resemblance of beer at all. Palate is flat but non-offensive. Nice for a novelty but wouldn’t have more than one.

Jan 3, 2010 Bottle; poured an orange/amber color with a creamy khaki head. Aroma of vanilla, vegetable, with maybe some woodiness. Bourbon is mia. Flavor had a weird vanilla presence, but it was better than expected. Veggies throughout. Not much bourbon. Ok

Jan 3, 2010 12 fl oz into a pint glass released copper color ale and small white head. Vanilla aroma and medium sweet taste with a medium body. Overall it was too sweet with the vanilla ruling over a mild alcohol taste.

Jan 2, 2010 Had this over Christmas. Not really great, not really bad. Didn’t have much of a taste. I guess some roasted malts. It was medium brown. I guess out of the bad this isn’t horrible. Wouldn’t seek this out, though.

Dec 31, 2009 From a 120z into a snifter. Pours ruby brown with about an inch of light head which dissipates in a couple minutes leaving no lacing. Aroma is of vanilla but it’s faint. Mouthfeel is thin. Taste is of grass, fake vanilla, medicine, fake cherries and some cherry NyQuil. Overall not very good. It’s too thin bodied with a bit too much carbonation. I’m possibly tasting oak, but that’s probably wishfull thinking. Lots of vanilla, it tastes like they poured vanilla extract into the recipe just before bottling. I wouldn’t waste my time with this one.

smell is of sweet malt, caramel, some spice, and a little woody.
taste is watery, sweet, malt, spice, caramel, bourbon in the back, and brown sugar, ends a little too sweet.
