Comments: Excellently bodied, toasty and berry-like mild.
oh6gdx (5680), Vaasa, Finland Aug 29, 2007 Cask@GBBF2007. Dark amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, wood, some fruity hops and slight hay. Fklavour is mildly roasted malts along with the same stuff as is in the aroma. Pleasant and refreshing. harrisoni (5106), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 3, 2007 Cask (gas dispense) at Duke of Connaught, Norwich. It’s a dark mild. Nice malt finish. Very dark brown with lasting beige head. Decent dark roasted aroma, oddly perfumed for a mild (parfait amour). Good tingle on end. A mild to keep you interested. cgarvieuk (2302), Edinburgh, Scotland May 2, 2007 dark brown black, toasted malt nose, rich roast mellow malt with a hint of coffee tones. TheGrandMaster (1432), Auckland, New Zealand May 29, 2006 Half pint poured (keg) at the Duke of Connaught in Norwich, dark brown with a good creamy white head. A rich dark chocolate aroma. Too caold and carbonation dominates the caramal and coffee flavours at first, though the coffee came through more strongly as it warmed.
