A medium bodied ale, light in color, good hop bite, very aromatic.

Nice copper color. Head sticks around pretty well. Nice hoppy aroma. A bit light bodied for the style but a good brew none the less. Very quaffable. Good hoppy finish (Cascade, Culumbus mix). I think I had about 5 pints.

The head brewer brought a dry-hopped version of this to a bar here in Bellingham along with a few other kegs. This has a definitive fresh-cut grass aroma that is really remarkable. This with a sharply citrusy flavor that actually doesn’t overload your taste buds with high IBUs makes this a very solid effort. The shy IBU is in no way a sacrifice of flavor, but rather the other way around - similar to the LaConner DH. My only qualm here is a slight lack in mouthfeel as the beer seems to drip off the palate before a finish can really take hold. Aside from this slightly watery character the beer is surely a solid output from the brewery - according to the brewer, the dry-hopping is a deviation from the recipe but surely one that should become permanent.
