An all out India Pale Ale blending five of our favourite seasonal hops. Bright fruit and floral notes play alongside fresh herbal qualities and a satisfying bitterness, creating a harmony of bold flavours.

Bottle from Beer Emporium, Bristol. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Bg, hoppy aroma of pine, citrus, pineapple and green herbs. Full-bodied, with dense malts, more tropical fruits and some heavy herbs, leading to a lengthy, bitter finish with the Mosaic hops dominant. Very good.

Bottled, 330ml from Whistle Wines, Exeter, Devon. Hazy gold with white head. There is a slight acrid note in the aroma but not in a bad way, it is just a hint of the hoppiness to come. Dry, zesty hop flavours, bittering grapefruit with lemon pith and a tropical fruit note, the whole gammut of likeable hop notes. It’s a bobby dazzler.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy golden coloured with juicy tropical fruit and orange marmalade flavours followed by a creamy zesty citrus and pine finish. Superb!

Bottle picked up from AP Harvey Wines, Earlsdon, Coventry, Sunday 9th November 2014 Pours mid gold, slightly hazy. Lemony nose. In the mouth it is as expected an assertive hop forward beer, but not too bossy or extreme,in fact the blend of the five hops works marvellously, its excellent. Dry finish otherwise a nice bittesweet erring on dryness throughout. Great. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

Bottle from Glug, Newcastle
Hazy pale amber, dank hops, resin and citrus pith on nose, full bodied, initial pithy bitter hit followed by hay and rhubarb notes from sorachi. Long pithy finish. An enjoyable IPA but lacking wow factor of Australia or summer.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy gold. Thin, sticky, white head. Grassy. Floral. Herbal. The Sorachi is evident. There’s a jammy, buttery thing going on, too. Taste is orange bitter. Some dry. A little meringue sweetness. Palate is zesty clean. Quite airy. Finishes long, rolling, chewy bitter. The first beer with Ella hops that I’ve liked, I think.

Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of pot puri, blood orange and honey. Flavour of caramel, tangerine, herbs, grass and passionfruit. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Decent, but it doesn’t quite gel.

Bottle shared at t’birthday, hazy orange-brown with a pine and citrus nose, body is dry-sweet with acrid grapefruit bitterness. Good, but still a little unbalanced.

Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Clear but cloudy orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is mango lychee tropical fruit. Pineapples. Light earthy tangy flavour is lemon and floral berry with peachy mango fruity berry hop. Very tasty. Palate is light and berry with some resin on the tongue. Peach yougurt
