3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Beer Emporium, Bristol. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Bg, hoppy aroma of pine, citrus, pineapple and green herbs. Full-bodied, with dense malts, more tropical fruits and some heavy herbs, leading to a lengthy, bitter finish with the Mosaic hops dominant. Very good.

Light haze on this gold - amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light with mild fine carbonation. Light malt base, semi dry. Hops are a great mix of Motueka like sweet floralness, fresh orange, orange pith and a touch of lime. Whispers of skunk and spice. Light semi dry finish. Great stuff!

Bottle. Hazy gold with an off white foam. Aromas are biscuit and hints of caramel with pineapple and white grape. Yeasty with low woody pine and herbal leafiness. Grapefruit with hints of mint and floral notes. Flavours are sweet tropical fruit with grapefruit and lightly woody green pine. Yeasty with biscuit malts and oak barrel. Dry on the finish. Good.

330ml bottle, pours hazy golden brown with a thin lasting head. Very hoppy aroma. Nice balance of lemon zest, papaya, grapefruit, kiwi, caramel malt. Finish is long and bitter with some lasting zesty sweetness running through. Body is full, oily texture with soft carbonation. Impressive.

Can really detect those sorachi ace in the nose. This one a bit more fruity though with exotic papaya like aromas. Really creamy thick head. Texture is soft, with a grapefruit bitterness and the soft fruity slightly coconutty flavours alongside. Wow. Just wow. These guys are becoming formidable.

Stunning. Again. The tropical fruit on the nose is overwhelming - mango and papaya mainly, with threads of lemonade and bubblegum. A tiny hint of pepper in there as well. The flavour is just superb - at once creamy, fresh, fruity, unctuous and zesty. Notes of lime zest, acacia honey, more lemonade, and angel’s tears of joy. This is such a great beer, and such a great brewer. I’ve gushed a lot about W&T in the past, but what can I say? The only other people on the planet who brew this well have to give up all the other earthly pleasures in order to do it. Brilliant.
