bottle, thank you very much, FatPhil! Clear brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of dark malts and plastic. Malty, hints of caramel and roasted malts. Ok.

Pint in a Nuneaton Harvester. No, not really...either from Regalia or Solaris, Tallinn. Horrible, rusty, spiced cabbage aroma- quite a sprinkle of red wine vinegar and mushy cherry palinka. Pours dark ruby with a low khaki head and swirls of detritus- is this Estonian real ale in the bottle??? Bloodied cabbage and cardboard sprinkled with brown sugar flavour. Seriously, I’m not in the mood after a pint of Nųgne Ų # 100. Drinkable, decent tume olu.

Dark red ruby color. Small head with staying power. Sweet malty smell with some sugar. Tastes of caramel, coffee, bread, prunes and a hint of dryness. No hint of alcohol, something I wouldn’t expect from a 5,6 ABV beer. I’d reccommend it.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown. Aroma is faint, but the taste is full bodied: malt, caramel, a hint of prunes, not overly sweet. Alcohol taste is well hidden for a 5,6% beer.

Big beige coarseish head. Dark red body with vigourous carbonation. Mealy fruity grainy aroma with sugary notes. Sweetish dry watery mealy roasty wild berry taste with strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Smooth, buttery mouthfeel. Dry strawy roasty aftertaste with vegetable notes. It’s not bad, but certainly not good, either. (0.5l bottle from some Tallinn grocery story.)
