(Draught at Põrgu, 20120704) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had molasses and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, molasses, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. Quite tasty but a bit too sugary dunkel.

Bottle 500ml (bought in Tallinn). Pours a dark brown/red color with a thin beige head that disappears quickly. Very light for 5,6%. Aroma of roasted malts, some light vegetables, dark fruit, caramel - some bread, too. Can’t find any bitterness, but it’s not too sweet either. Average carbonation and medium/full body. Dry finish. Drinkable, but nothing too special.

(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, toasty nose with notes of dark bread, roasted malt, raisins and prunes. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, dried fruit, raisins and crispbread. Mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a balanced sweetness. Quite decent dunkel.

Hazy brown/amber pour with some light ruby highlights. There is a little bit of sweet malt character. A touch of chewy malt and a bit of fatty malt sweetness and some light hop character. Meh. It’s really not all that good.
