Bottle from Tbone_. Dark brown color. Milk chocolate aroma with some vegetable notes. Grainy flavor with cacao and milk chocolate. Caramel. Thin, not an entirely clean mouthfeel, but not unpleasant.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Look; fawn head and rose-brown clear body. Aroma; potent dark malts, fruits, leaves, grass. Taste; brown malts, plum, almond, chocolate, raisin, dusty hops, grass, leaves - leading to a soft malty fruity slightly dry finish. Fine texture and soft carbonation. Easy and nice. Among the better baltics. [50cl brown bottle 5.6%abv BB18-08-2015 B@RimiPärnu T@Ferie2015]

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a very dark mahogany body that you still can see through. The light brown head settles down to a thin even layer. Nose has coffee, chokolate and rosted malts. Taste starts off sweetly and ends in a smooth, dry and roasty finish. Carbonation and mouthfeel ar just above medium. Overall a decent brew, a little simple but quite drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2014 Poured from 500 ml bottle in Pühajärve, Estonia.
Clear, dark cola brown with a small khaki head and fair lacing.
Aroma of brown sugar, sweet malt, caramel, raisins and lingonberries.
Taste of sweet rum, raisins, sweet cherry, caramel, lingonberries, brown sugar, nuts and a bit of earthy hops.
Medium body and low/medium carbonization.
This is a sweet dunkel--as are most Estonian tumes. But the fruitiness and mild hop finish add a nice complexity. It’s still a bit sweet for my taste, but it’s interesting and certainly a welcome change. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
50cl bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja. Pours clear copper with a minimal white head. Aroma of malt and caramel with notes of dark fruits. Reminds me a bit of kvass. Quite sweet and malty with a light bitterness in the finish. A bit watery and quite boring, but drinkable enough. (2013-11-10)

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decently complex for an Estonian semi-macro brew, it would benefit from more roasted as opposed to fully-burnt rusted malt notes--it comes across as an overly malty lager instead of a balanced dark beer

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottler. 2.6 only because it is usually a decent brew and taste similarly from batch to batch. I would not categories it is as dunkel, it is more of a dark lager instead. Soma caramle and roasted malt in the aroma, quite hoppy, not exactly creamy texture, average carbonation and caramel finish. Good brew by Viru Õlu. Worth a try when you are in Estonia.
