It fights like a Bulldog on your palate - Brutal Bulldog Double IPA är en intensiv bekantskap.

Original description:
Test batch brewed together with Bishop’s Arms S:t Eriksgatan, Stockholm. Available for a limited time only on this pub.

330 ml bottle. Clear dark golden body with an off-white head. Aroma has malt, citric fruit, hint of caramel, ripe fruit and some tropical fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, citric fruit, tropical fruit and quite bitter. It also has some pronounced alcohol without being boozy. Nice body and fruity bitter aftertaste. Pretty good IPA with a balanced malt profile.

330 ml bottle at Ölstugan Tullen Lejonet, Göteborg. Pours dark orange with white head. Smell is floral, fruity, grapefruit and zest. Taste is bitter grapefruit and tropical fruit. Dry with high bitterness and medium carbonation. Several years ago this was one of the first IIPAs I tried and I really liked it, when I tried now it’s nothing special.

Pours amber with small head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit. Quite complex, and has a nice malty balance to the hops. Fairly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Moebbels (420) - FINLAND - JAN 15, 2015
A clear orange body with a fluffy white head that settles quickly and leaves lacing on the glass. Nose has tropical notes of citrus fruits, pine and resin but also some maltiness. Taste is quite sweet and leads to a smooth, bitter finish that lasts on the palate. Medium carbonation and rich, oily palate. Decent DIPA but the hops aroma is a bit weak or has subsided over time.

Very light body DIPA with OK bitterness, low hops, average ABV. i would rate this as an IPA, definitly not a DIPA from a taste point of view, only DIPA by ABV.
