Pours a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is somewhat buttery with a lot of straw and grass. Some sweet pale malt, light bread aromas, and some generic cereal/grain. Not much in the way of esters. The flavor is a touch bitter, particularly as it warms. Fairly grainy with some pale malt and bread notes, maybe a bit of cracker. Not really very hoppy, just some grass notes on the finish.

Deep golden colour with a white head. Moderate malty and light fruity nose. A well balanced malt flavour with some fruity notes. Moderate dry hoppy texture.

Ap: copper colored body, wee white frothy head
F: hoppy, bread, dry, citric
Lunch was excellent after the lovely Spa, the beer wasn’t really pairing with the total picture.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, grass, metalic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111030]

Aromas of light hops, grass and sweet malt. Weak but clean hop bitterness in the taste with some nice sweet malt. It’s classic and very drinkable. Finishes with a light bitterness.

From tap at Bishops Arms. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy and slight grassy. Bitter, grassy and crisp hoppy. Bitter and citrusy finish.

Arôme doux-beurre, léger houblon, malt léger et caramel.
Bière avec un petit côté fruité, note beurre, fleuri, petite note métallique, med carbonation laisse un palais sec avec extrait de houblon. Ca se laisse boire, mais sans plus.
