On tap at Ardberg Embassy. Cloudy amber beer, little white head. Palate is crisp and a little dry. Semi sweet malt, dry but fresh. Trace of citrus. Semi dry finish. Something of a fresh air beer but fresh and drinkable.

Pours nicely thick texture liquid, like syrup, white huge rocky top diminishing medium fast/long leaving nice spoty lacing. When last drops are poured it looked like blood drop melting in the water; color is hazy amber to orange. On nose - mild sweet malty and mild spicy hops, but lacks intensity. Taste reminds of APA or IPA, mild malt sweet and pleasantly bitter from hopping, minimal sour. Hopping is so well balanced in flavor combined with other aspects. Enjoyed a lot. Palate - medium body, compoty texture, mild dry finish, leaving pleasant biter in the mouth. I’m surprised about how respectable to me this brew is compared with ratings. Very enjoyable.

0.33 l bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm. Orange colour, big head. Taste has fruits and hops, but in a bitter way. Quite a Belgian taste. Strangely, tastes stronger than just 5 %.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks David Cohen. Clear deep golden with almost no head. Aroma has light maltiness, a bit of oxidation, a bit of stale hops and light fruitiness. Sweetish flavor with a bit of malt, light fruitiness and a decent bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Golden, hazy beer, with a small white head. Malty, fruity aroma with some bread notes. Fruity flavor as well with bread notes. Really comes out more like a very drinkable lager.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy orange with a white one inch head. Aroma is malt, some grass, citrus and spices. Taste follows, medium body, a minor lingering bitterness. Was expecting more contribution from the yeast being named "monastery beer".
